New Mexico based artist Katie O'Sullivan creates an imaginative world with the stories told through her mixed media pieces. Fragments of memories, observations, fears, and desires are all applied to the painting surface using different tools and techniques. These thoughts and emotions manifest themselves in the form of colors, lines, drawings, symbols, and words.  She works quickly, adding layer upon layer with no preconceived outcome.

"The paintings become your story.  As you look at them through your eyes, you breathe new life into them. From your perspective, you discover fragments from your own experience, make new connections, and see new possibilities.
